Thanks for your video! I have an old worn rub block. Should I try to find a machine shop to put a new surface on it, or can I flatten it with a diamond plate or glass and grit similar to how a whetstone is flattened?

Just changed out the turning lever and hinge on my beloved Volts, completely fixed the terrible rattle that they had developed! Thanks for the great customer service on my parts order, and for posting your videos, they were lifesavers!

Damn it. I saw this video right after I sharpened my blade. I saw the hollow grind shape and was wondering if tit was on purpose. Instead of checking, I just grinded away until it’s flat.

I was always taught to use grease on the lever, would you recommend not using it for this?
